After years away in America, the Midlands and finally the frantic, hectic pace of life in SE Essex, Rachel Crawford nee Wilks is bringing all her family and all her culinary skills to the beautiful, peaceful East Riding seaside town of Hornsea.
A new start, a new season and a new name, Cafe Eden is situated opposite the entrance to the unique beauty spot of Hornsea Mere.
The cafe opens on Thursday 2nd June to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee weekend and begin to get to know the local people.
Rachel has worked in the catering industry for years, from large factory cafeterias to the Airport Cafe at Southend, from outside catering for Weddings to the Vintage Pub in Battlesbridge but this is the first time that she will be owning her own business.

We love to see new faces walk through the door. If you are local, on holiday or taking a day out to visit the area, we would love to welcome into Cafe Eden.
A warm welcome, friendly staff, delicious food. Had a sausage baguette, a deluxe hot chocolate and scrambled eggs on toast with a side of sausages over several visits. Everything cooked beautifully! Will definitely be returning!

Wow this place! I went today for a meal with my sisters. I'm from out of town not hornsea and my word it was lovely food and the 2 people (assuming owners) was so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely 100% recommend this cafe if your passing by or live close Thank you
